Prerequisites:

Evidence of statistics course at BSN level.

  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a school accredited by ACEN, CNEA or CCNE.
  • An overall GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale
  • Current Puerto Rico Generalist License or from other state from United State
  • Demonstrated ability in clinical excellence and leadership.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a professional nurse.
  • Students must be either a U.S citizen, legal U.S. resident or hold a valid visa
  • Demonstrate English proficiency.
  • Personal letter stating why you want to pursue doctoral study and your intended contribution to nursing.
  • Complete an application for admission including the following:
    • Three letters of recommendation from the employing agency or professors on forms provided.
    • Curriculum Vitae.
    • Official Transcripts of Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
    • Certificate of good conduct and Background check certificate (Police department)
    • Admission fee $100
    • Interview with the graduate program admissions committee using holistic interview format
    • Complete an Essay of the evaluation of Nursing Journal Article.
  • Hold a master Degree in Nursing from a school accredited by ACEN, CNEA or CCNE
  • Candidates with master degree in any other Nurse Practitioner Specialty need to complete the courses of adult primary care Nurse Practitioner and doctor in nursing practice degree.
  • An overall GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Current Puerto Rico Generalist License or from other state from United State
  • Demonstrated ability in clinical excellence and leadership.
  • Students must be either a U.S. citizen, legal U.S. resident or hold a valid visa
  • Demonstrate English proficiency.
  • Personal letter stating why you want to pursue doctoral study and your intended contribution to nursing.
  • Complete an application for admission including the following:
    • Three letters of recommendation from the employing agency or professors on forms provided.
    • Curriculum Vitae.
    • Two Official Transcripts of Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
    • Certificate of good conduct and Background check certificate (Police department)
