Self-care, relaxation, and stress reduction propitiate the development of inner strength. Learning to become aware of our emotions and handling them in a productive manner allows us to better understand ourselves and cope with life challenges.

  • The Personal Counselor offers one on one interventions and assessments that help students to achieve emotional wellness. Policies have been set in place to guarantee student confidentiality in such cases (Executive Order 2012-06)
  • Students that present the need for specialized treatment may meet with the Personal Counselor for referrals.
  • Educational workshops are offered to students by mental care professionals to assist them in strengthening this dimension
  • Student Organizations provide extracurricular activities that promote emotional wellness
